Director of School of Design & Media
Mr Albert Lim

My heartiest congratulations to the Class of 2026! I am thrilled to share that the Class of 2026 has achieved outstanding success! You have flown our NYP flag high both in Singapore and internationally! Let me highlight some notable achievements. Firstly, sweeping the Gold medals in 3D Digital Game Art, Visual Merchandising and Graphic Design Technology at the WorldSkills Singapore 2025, and all ready to head out to WorldSkills Competition Shanghai 2026 to compete on the global stage among the world’s top young design talents. Secondly, aside from our proud tradition of contributing to the National Day Parade Multimedia Show for the last 15 years, some of you have created stunning 3D anamorphic motion graphics for SG60 last year, displayed on the LED façade at Heeren @ Orchard. The large-scale visuals brought Singapore-inspired stories and the NDP mascot “August” to life, capturing the attention of thousands of pedestrians along Orchard Road. Finally, because of your talent, some of you worked on the Virtual Reality Simulation of Radiation Therapy project that comprises four immersive Virtual Reality applications developed in collaboration with the National Cancer Centre Singapore. The solutions are designed to prepare young patients for photon and proton radiotherapy treatments by reducing fear and anxiety through experiential learning. These accomplishments demonstrated your creativity, expertise, commitment, and collaborative approach. Your drive and determination to achieve high standards are evident in your ability to address complex challenges. As you begin your next chapter, build on these qualities and consistently pursue excellence to deliver positive impact. Together with my faculty team at the School of Design & Media, we wish you a journey filled with new discoveries, continuous growth, and unlimited opportunities. All the best, Class of 2026!— Albert Lim (Director of School of Design & Media)
